FINE AND RARE GROUP OF WWI AND WWII AIR CORPS STERLING WINGS.

1) Very rare, orig and authentic WWI sterling Aviator's wing with applied gold US letters. 3-7/8" across, maker marked "DIBB / STERLING". Wings have correct silver reinforced strip at top with brass studs and still retaining the orig locking washers. WWI wings are highly reproduced and this is an orig set originally from the collection of Don Armstrong of Atlanta, Georgia who sold these to Mr. Bentley. 2) Command Pilot made by "NS MEYER INC / NEW YORK", 3" wing with t-bar pin. A pasted label on verso "M GEN JACK KIDD, USAF (RET)". 3) Senior Pilot made by "NS MEYER INC / NEW YORK", 3" wing with t-bar pin. 4) Pilot, 3" wing marked "STERLING" with t-bar pin. 5) Aerial Gunner made by "NS MEYER INC / NEW YORK", 3" wing with t-bar pin. 6) Air Crew made by "AMICO", 3" wing with two pin back.
