IMPRESSIVE LOT OF TWO M-1918-A2 BAR MARINE CORPS TRAINING AIDS WITH STAND.Mfg by J.H. Keeney & Co. in 1954 and property marked for US Marine Corps. Measuring 8' overall length, these two X-scale skeletonized training aids were used to train young marines the proper functioning of the iconic 1918 Browning automatic rifle. These training aids can be manually operated and actually feed and eject their large plastic training cartridges. One rifle is complete with cartridges and is displayed on its dated and inspected Marine Corps Property marked stand. The other rifle is without stand or cycling dummies. SIZE: PROVENANCE: The spectacular collections of Ray Bentley featuring the finest and rarest deluxe antique Winchesters in the world. CONDITION: Overall condition of rifle on stand is very fine with slight finish loss at high points and some slight distress to display stand; however is still functioning. Second rifle is in lesser condition and is missing mag floor plate and internal mag components, also suffers with more finish loss, but could easily be restored to near new condition. 53094-193 TDW (2,500-3,000)
