VERY FINE & RARE 1945 SPRINGFIELD M1C GARAND SNIPER .30-06 RIFLE WITH M82 SCOPE. SPRINGFIELD M1 GARAND 3373483 MODERN; C&R Cal. .30-06. 24" bbl. Standard markings. 3-45 dated bbl. Drawing numbers are consistent with bbl and receiver dates. Proper "S.A./N.F.R." and ordnance wheel cartouches. Circle P firing proof behind trigger guard. Lock bar rear sight. Proper scope rail mounted on side receiver. Proper Griffin & Howe scope mount. Proper M82 scope with post reticle. SN on right side of scope mount is 162 numbers off from the receiver SN. All correct drawing numbers on scope. Proper leather eye cup and sun shield. "K/ LINE" marked leather cheek rest. "MILSCO/ 1944" marked brown leather sling. "SA/ HIDER FLASH M 2" marked flash hider. PROVENANCE: The spectacular collections of Ray Bentley featuring the finest and rarest deluxe antique Winchesters in the world. CONDITION: Very fine with light finish wear from handling. All markings clear. Wood is fine with slight handling marks, cartouches on left side lightly stamped. Slight discoloration from leather cheek rest. Bore is excellent with sharp rifling.
