FINE & CORRECT SPRINGFIELD 1941 M1 GARAND .30-06 RIFLE. SPRINGFIELD M1 GARAND 378569 30 MODERN; C&R Cal. .30-06. 24" bbl. Standard markings. Drawing numbers on receiver, bolt, hammer, op-rod, trigger guard, trigger housing are all consistent with the 10-41 bbl date. Proper "S.A./G.H.S." and ordnance wheel cartouches on left side of stock. Lock bar rear sight. Oilers in trap in butt. 1917 dated Western MFG Co. leather sling. Missing front stacking swivel. "378569A" vertically engraved down bottom of gas cylinder in an English Military style. No British proofs. PROVENANCE: The spectacular collections of Ray Bentley featuring the finest and rarest deluxe antique Winchesters in the world. CONDITION: Very fine with some finish wear. All markings clear.
