GROUP OF 4 WWI U.S. KNUCKLE KNIVES.

1) Solid brass gripped, "U.S. 1918", cast in grip, 6-1/2" double edged blade with "AU LION" maker's mark on ricasso. 2) Model 1917 trench knife, "LF & CO / 1917" marked on ricasso, 8-15/16" triangular blade, sheath iron mounted with black dyed leather. 3) Model 1917 trench knife, "LF & CO / 1917" marked on ricasso, 9-1/8" triangular blade, sheath iron mounted with OD painted leather scabbard. 4) Model 1917 trench knife "A.C. CO. U.S.A. 1917" stamped inside knuckle bow, walnut grip with 8-15/16" triangular blade. OD painted iron mounted scabbard, dated "JEWELL 1918". SIZE: PROVENANCE: The spectacular collections of Ray Bentley featuring the finest and rarest deluxe antique Winchesters in the world. CONDITION: 1) Fine overall retaining most of its luster with small clip to point. Iron sheath cleaned and scratched, retaining traces of finish. 2) Very good to fine overall, retaining much of its orig finish to blade and iron grip. 3) Very good to fine overall, retains most of its orig finish to blade. 4) Fine overall. Blade retains most of its bright blue finish; knuckle bow and crossguard retain much of their orig finish with distinct pyramidal capstan. 53094-175 JS (1,200-1,500)
