SAVAGE MODEL 29A PUMP RIFLE WITH ORIGINAL SHIPPING BOX. SAVAGE 29 150411L 22 SH MODERN; C&R Cal. 22S, L, LR. 23-1/2" oct bbl with adjustable rear sight and blade front sight. Top of bbl with Savage and Utica address. Left side of blued receiver stamped "SAVAGE / MODEL 29". Uncheckered full knob buttstock with repairs behind tang and sides has 13-1/2" LOP over crisp Savage brand checkered buttplate. Lined forearm and blued 3/4 length mag tube. Housed in its factory orig shipping box which is addressed to H&D Folsom Arms New York City and on top in pencil "Repair A-1195 for E. Bentley", postage on the box is 21 cents. This was likely when the gun was sent back to Savage for the stock repair. Weight: 5 lbs. 7 ozs. CONDITION: Very fine, bbl and receiver retain nearly all of their factory orig blue finish. Mag tube retains approx 80% orig blued finish starting to tone. Buttstock with repairs as noted above, retains virtually all of a properly restored finish with minor handling marks and lifting of finish. Bore is bright and shiny. Mechanics are gummed up from years of storage, gun appears test fired only. Box is in very good original condition with minor scrapes and rub marks. 53094-130 JSL74 (500-625)
