WINCHESTER PRE-64 MODEL 94 CARBINE. WINCHESTER 94 2323810 30WCF MODERN; C&R Cal. 30 WCF. 20" bbl, blue finish. Straight grain American walnut stocks with checkered steel shotgun buttplate. Bbl shows Winchester Model and Cal. designation alongside the address on left side by rear sight. Front sight is hooded and mounted on a ramp. Rear sight is standard semi-buckhorn. SN is stamped on bottom front of receiver. Receiver is originally tapped for a receiver sight. Forearm is of the late short type. CONDITION: Very fine. Bbl and magazine tube retain 90% of the orig bright blue finish that has somewhat drifted on top of bbl, with some slight muzzle wear. Markings are sharp. Sights are very good. Bore is bright with strong rifling. Receiver also retains 90% of orig blue finish with some high-point wear and a few minor scratch marks. Markings are sharp. Stocks are very good, full sized and retain nearly all of their orig varnish finish with only minuscule handling marks. Mechanics are crisp. One of the last variations of the Model 94 Winchester Pre-64 carbine made in 1958. 53080-6 TEP (550-750)
