Straight grain American walnut stocks with checkered pistol grip and forearm. Checkered steel shotgun buttplate. Winchester quick detach sling swivels. Bbl shows Winchester Cal. and Model designation rolled on the left side of the breech. Winchester address is on right side. Front sight is hooded and mounted on a ramp. Rear sight is of the standard sporting type. "WP" proofs are struck at the bbl breech and on top of receiver ring. SN is stamped on bottom forward part of receiver. Pistol grip is capped. CONDITION: Very fine as professional restored. Bbl and magazine tube retain 98% blue finish. Markings are sharp, sights very good, rear sight is slightly bent. Bore is frosty with visible rifling. Receiver retains 98% blue finish. Markings are sharp. Hammer and lever retain most of the blue finish. Mechanics are crisp. Stocks very good showing almost all of the varnish finish. Checkering is sharp. There is a small gap between buttstock and rear of receiver. Buttplate retains most of the blue finish, as does the forend cap.
