UNIQUE COLT SINGLE ACTION ARMY REVOLVER WITH ATTACHED SHOULDER STOCK, EXTRA CYLINDER, LOADING TOOL AND BULLET MOLD WITH FACTORY LETTER.COLTSA2932445 ELEY/45 LCW/STOCK, EXTRA CYLINDER, RELOADING TOOLSCal. 45 ELEY/45 LC. 5-1/2" bbl, blue and case color finish, 1-pc straight grain American walnut grip. Extra 45 LC cyl. Gunmetal shoulder stock with vernier tang sight. Also included is an Ideal loading tool and bullet mold for 45 LC Cal. with a Customs Declaration tag addressed to Mc Lennan, Mc Feely Co, Vancouver, B.C. Canada. Bbl shows Colt 1-line Hartford address rolled on top. There are two small British proofs stamped on bottom. Ejector rod has donut head. Ejector rod housing is frozen in place and could not be safely removed. SN appears on frame, trigger guard and backstrap. Last 4-digits are stamped at rear periphery of boxer cyl. Cyl shows British proofs around periphery at each chamber. 45 LC cyl is not marked. All SNs match. Frame shows 2-line Colt patent mark on left side. "45 CAL / B" appears on left rear of trigger guard. Hammer screw is of the stud type for mounting shoulder stock. Backstrap was not removed due to risk of damage to grip. Grip fits perfectly and is no doubt orig. Shoulder stock is not marked. Tang sight is mounted on a post with a sliding elevation aperture. Aperture and tang are marked "264". Loading tool and mold are housed in their orig box with accessories. Loading tool is marked "45-COLT'S". Bullet mold is unique and for a round ball, model number "45469". Model number also appears on end label of box. Box contains casting directions. Accompanying this revolver is a copy of a Colt factory letter dated January 8, 2018 confirming Cal. finish with a special notation "Short Barrel" and showing shipment to Colt's London agency on August 31, 1876 in a 50-gun shipment. CONDITION: Very fine. Bbl retains 80% bright blue finish with a sharp address and remnants of a feather mark around front sight. All marks are sharp and clear. Bore is frosty with visible rifling. Frame shows 80% of orig case color finish which is vivid in protected areas, markings are sharp. Screws show considerable blue. Trigger guard and backstrap retain 80% bright blue finish with most of the loss on butt and forestrap. Boxer cyl shows 10% blue with balance flaked to a smooth grey/brown patina. Markings are sharp. 45 LC cyl retains 90% bright blue finish with a slight drag mark between bolt stops. Grip shows most of the orig varnish finish with some minuscule handling marks and high-point wear. Grips fit. Hammer retains considerable case color, trigger shows traces of blue. Mechanics are crisp. Shoulder stock is fine with a deep mottled patina and some stains. Tang sight is also very fine with considerable blue. Loading tool retains all orig nickel finish, all accessories are fine. Box is also fine with clear top and end labels. Custom Declaration tag is very good and appears to be from the early 1900's. A rare opportunity to obtain a very unique Colt Single Action Army revolver, mounted with a shoulder stock with an extra cyl and the appropriate tools for re-loading. 53043-2 TEP (7,500-12,500)
