LOT OF 3 COLT SINGLE ACTION ARMY REVOLVERS. COLT SAA 2ND GEN 97912SA 45 LC MODERN; C&R Cal. 45 LC. 7-1/2" bbl, full nickel finish. 2-pc walnut grips. Bbl shows 1-line Colt address rolled on top with Model and Cal. designation on left side. Frame shows 2-line Colt patent mark in front of Rampant Colt on left side. Trigger guard bow shows "VP" proof on left front and "R" on rear bow. "2" is stamped on right front bow. No SNs appear on backstrap and trigger guard. Assembly number "1A" is stamped on left inner side of trigger guard. This number is also written in pencil inside of each grip. Last 4 digits of SN is stamped on front face of cyl. Cyl does not have a removable bushing. This revolver is one of the last 2nd Generation Single Action revolvers made in 1978 and appears to be a transitional model with features of 3rd Generation revolvers SNd in the 2nd Generation range. CONDITION: Excellent. Revolver retains nearly all of the orig nickel finish overall with only a few very slight handling marks. Bore is bright with strong rifling. Front sight is full sized. Mechanics are crisp and all markings are sharp and clear. Grips are very good, fit very well and only show slight handling marks. An opportunity to obtain a transitional Colt Single Action Army revolver which is seldom seen. 52792-5 TEP (1,000-1,500)

COLTSAA CENTENIAL1034PC44 WCFGROUP OF 3 COLTSMODERN; C&RCal. 44 WCF. 7-1/2" bbl full nickel finish. 2-pc hard rubber grips with American eagle motif. This is a 2nd Generation revolver made in 1973 as a Centennial commemoration. Bbl shows 1-line Colt italic address rolled on top. Left side of bbl shows "COLT FRONTIER SIX SHOOTER" in an etched panel. Right side of bbl is rolled "1873 PEACEMAKER CENTENNIAL 1973". Bottom of bbl at breech is marked "44". SN appears on frame, trigger guard and backstrap and is exposed and number's match. Left side of frame shows 2-line Colt patent mark. Left rear trigger guard is marked "44 CF". This revolver is built on a black powder style frame with a screw holding the base pin and a donut shaped ejector rod head. Loading gate shows last 3-digits of SN. Cyl is marked with "1034" on the rear periphery. CONDITION: Very fine. Revolver retains nearly all of the orig nickel finish. Markings are sharp. Bore is bright with strong rifling. Chambers are clean. Mechanics are crisp. Grips are very fine with sharp checkering. 52792-6 TEP (1,000-1,500)

COLTPEACEMAKER-2262365022MAGMODERN; C&RCal. 22 MAG. 4-5/8" bbl. Blue and case color finish. 2-pc checkered hard rubber grips with Colt medallions and eagle motif. Frame has 2-line Colt patent address marked on left side in front of Rampant colt logo. Cyl is marked ".22 MAG." twice around rear periphery. CONDITION: Very fine. Bbl and ejector rod show nearly all of the orig blue finish with only very slight evidence of muzzle wear. Markings are sharp.Bore is bright with strong rifling. Cyl and grip frame both retain most of the blue finish with only very slight high-point wear. Frame retains nearly all of the case color finish. Mechanics are crisp. 52792-7 TEP (250-500)
