FINE CIVIL WAR NCO SWORD.1864 dated Ames Model 1840 non-commissioned officer's sword in very fine condition with bright blade, well marked, solid scabbard. SIZE: CONDITION: Fine overall. 31-3/4" blade retains most of its orig luster and tool marks with discernible markers mark, date and inspector. Scabbard body is so crisp it appears reproduction. Brass mounts and hilt cleaned with light mustard patina. 52865-57 JS (400-600)
