AMES MODEL 1832 SHORT ARTILLERY SWORD COMPLETE WITH INTERLOCKING 2-PIECE US ARTILLERY BELT.Fine 1834 dated example with Springfield address, sound and solid scabbard with orig buff belt with 2-pc interlocking US belt buckle. SIZE: CONDITION: Very good to fine overall, 19" blade is overall grey with scattered areas of pitting, especially at tip. Well discerned markings, solid scabbard retaining much of its orig finish. Drag is missing two of its pins. Buff belt is in matching very good condition with soiling. Brass buckle has dark mustard patina. Sword hilt and mounts are cleaned with mixed light mustard patina. 52865-17 JS (1,250-1,750)
