MATCHED PAIR OF ANTONIS GUISASOLA FLINTLOCK MIGUELET BELT PISTOLS. ANTONIS GUISASOLA FLINTLOCK PISTOLS NA 66 Cal. about 66. Bbls are 6-3/4" with oct shanks and faceted transitions to rnd forward portion with flared cannon muzzles. Both bbls have smooth bores. Bbl flats transitions and top tang have gold-filled, vine type scrolled engraving and proof marks. Gold proof on top flat as crowned over "ANT/GUI/SAS/OLA." Lock plates are marked "Ant./Guisasola." Lock plates, hammers and frizzens are engraved. Pans are gold-lined. Plain triggers. Pin fastened, rnd butt walnut stocks with French checkered wrists. Engraved iron fittings include buttcap with back strap that extends to top tang. Trigger guard with fancy finial, side plate and nose cap. Side plates have integral 3-3/4" iron belt hooks. Hardwood ramrods have horn trumpet tips. One has patch screw on opposite end, the other is broken. CONDITION: Both are very good. Metal finish has faded to gray with some very light pitting. Bbl markings are missing some gold filling. Stocks have added finish over scratches and handling marks with some very small cracks and chips in lock and side plate areas. Mechanics are fine.
