RARE AND DESIRABLE HOLLAND & HOLLAND 2 INCH 12 GAUGE "DOMINION" GRADE SIDELOCK EJECTOR GAME SHOTGUN WITH CASE. HOLLAND & HOLLAND SXS DOMINION 32493 12GA MODERN; C&R (ca 1934) Cal. 12 ga. 2" Chambers. 28" Chopper lump bbls are engraved with makers name and address on tops, and "DOMINION" and "FOR 2" CASES ONLY" on rib. Nitro proofed for 1 oz of shot. Case hardened action is fitted with back action locks, and is nicely rose and scroll engraved. Stock is well streaked and figured. Ejector forend has Deeley release. Bore diameter: left -.730, right - .729. Bore restrictions: left - .011 (lt mod), right - .005 (IC). Wall thickness: left - .026, right - .024. Drop at heel: 2-3/8", drop at comb: 1-7/16". Cast: neutral. Weight: 5 lbs. 11 oz. LOP: 15-5/8" over 2" lengthening piece with checkered wood butt. Orig tan canvas case with leather corners is lined in burgundy cloth, with H&H label, charge card for this gun, and instruction label in lid. Case contains cleaning rod and H&H snap caps. CONDITION: Excellent, mostly original, retaining well over 90% metal finish, and most stock finish, except for butt, due to fitting of lengthening piece. Bores are excellent with some scattered pits.
