CHURCHILL IMPERIAL GRADE SIDELOCK EJECTOR XXV GAME SHOTGUN WITH CASE.EJ CHURCHILLXXV674012W/CASEMODERN; C&RCal. 12 ga. 2-3/4" Chambers. 25" Bbls fitted with Churchill rib have makers name and Orange Street address engraved on tops. Gun originally 2-1/2" has been re-proofed for 2-3/4" chambers. Coin finished sidelock action with automatic safety and dbl triggers, is engraved in Churchill's distinctive Imperial grade pattern, with full coverage large shaded scroll within scroll borders, and a crown on bottom of action. Well streaked and lightly figured European walnut straight grip buttstock measures 15" over black Decelerator pad. Matching splinter ejector forend has Anson release. Bore diameter: left -.730, right - .730. Bore restrictions: left - .021 (mod), right - .003 (IC). Wall thickness: left - .030, right - .029. Drop at heel: 1-15/16", drop at comb: 1-1/2". Cast: approx 1/2 off. Weight: 6 lbs. 5 oz. LOP: 15". Brown leather case with brass corners is lined in green felt, and has makers label in lid. CONDITION: Good, as refinished. Bbls have approx 95% satin re-blue. Action cleaned to coin finish and remains shiny. Secondary parts re-blued, engraving slightly softened. Stocks have older oil finish, with numerous marks, edges slightly rounded. Checkering re-cut. Bores are excellent. Action is a touch loose. Bbls are down on flats. Mechanically good.
