NEAT AS FOUND J GRAHAM & CO OF INVERNESS SIDELOCK EJECTOR 12 GAUGE SHOTGUN.GRAHAMSL8194312 GAW/CASEMODERN; C&RCal. 12 ga. 25" bbl, proofed with 2-1/2" chambers. Chokes are IMP CYL/FULL. Full length narrow game top rib with burst of scroll at breech ends. Dbl triggers, auto ejectors, auto safety. Beautiful straight grain, straight stocked butt checkered in 2-point pattern with teardrops behind locks, has 14-5/8" LOP over hardened red leather faced pad. Splinter forearm, checkered in 3-point pattern with engraved push button release. Sidelock action is beautifully rose and scroll engraved in near full coverage and engraved on bottom of sidelocks "J. GRAHAM & CO LTD." Bottom of action with fabulous floral scroll engraving. Beaded fences are floral and scroll engraved as is top lever and trigger guard. Top tang is scroll engraved and gold inlaid "SAFE" in front of safety. All visible SNs match. Housed in what appears to be its orig full leather takedown case with 2-pc cleaning rod and maker's label. Initials "B.P.C" embossed on top. Bore diameter: left - .727, right – .725. Bore restrictions: left – .031 (full) right – .002 (cyl). Wall thickness: left – .031, right – .033. Drop at heel: 2-13/16", drop at comb: 1-11/16". Weight: 6 lbs. 6 ozs. CONDITION: Very good, as found. Bbls retain more than 80% of their orig blue finish. Action retains approx 30% of its orig case color, mostly on sidelocks, toned elsewhere. Trigger guard and top lever retain 30% of what appears to be their orig blue finish. Buttstock with repair to bottom left finger is very good as competently restored, checkering has thinned, particularly on right side from handling. Forearm shows most of a professionally restored finish with checkering thinning at grip. Bores are bright and shiny with some older repaired dents in left tube near muzzle. Case is good with scrapes and losses, leather is drying. A great full sidelock, vintage pheasant gun if there ever was one. 53203-1 JSL71 (3,000-5,000)
