WINCHESTER MODEL 12 12 GAUGE SHOTGUN WITH PRETTY CUSTOM ENGRAVING.WINCHESTER12173855912MODERN; C&RCal. 12 ga. 30" ventilated, matted rib bbl with steel mid bead and white plastic front bead. 2-3/4" chambers. Choke marked full. Custom buttstock checkered in 2-point pattern is of nicely figured American walnut with 14-1/8" LOP over Winchester brand white lined waffle pad. Forearm checkered on sides and in diamond pattern at center. Receiver has been nicely custom engraved with dogs pointing quail on right and flying geese in marsh scene on left surrounded by well cut scroll. Bottom of magazine tube engraved with contemporary pigeon, SN, and bottom of receiver engraved with SN and "TRAP" in gold. Buttstock with custom Winchester steel grip cap. Nicely polished carrier and ejector. All visible SN match. WEIGHT: 8 lbs 5 oz. CONDITION: Fine as very lightly field used since being customized. Metal parts retain nearly all of their custom blued finish. Forearm with some chipping at front, retains most of an older restored finish, checkering somewhat thinned. Custom buttstock with minor gaping around frame and checkering re-cut, with repair through wrist which is now stable. Buttstock retains most of its custom finish with only very minor handling marks. Bore is bright and shiny. Mechanics are functional though safety is stiff. 53056-11 JSL (500-750)
