DESIRABLE 1ST YEAR PRODUCTION MODEL 61 WINCHESTER RIFLE.WINCHESTER61193122MODERN; C&RCal. .22. 24" rnd bbl with 2pc walnut stocks with 11-groove forearm. Proper and correct front and rear factory sights and factory drilled for rear tang sight. Mfg in 1932. These 1st year guns are rarely found with any finish, much less in the fine overall condition such as this one. CONDITION: 2pc wood stocks show slight to moderate use with several minor abrasions on forearm and several small areas of typical bruising and handling marks on butt. Most all finish remains on receiver and bbl with typical finish loss on mag and bbl from pump operation. Bore is bright and shiny. Mechanics are crisp and functional. This little rifle would benefit greatly from a diligent cleaning and is far above average for a 1st year 61. 53080-14 TDW (600-900)
