EXCEPTIONAL WINCHESTER MODEL 62A SLIDE ACTION RIFLE IN ORIGINAL WINCHESTER CARDBOARD SHIPPING BOX.WINCHESTER62A37142522RFW/BOXMODERN; C&RCal. 22 RF. 23" rnd bbl, 3/4 magazine, blue finish, straight grain American walnut stocks with grooved forend and Winchester hard rubber buttplate. Bbl shows Winchester address, trademark, model and Cal. designation rolled on left side by rear sight. "WP" proof is struck on top of bbl and receiver. SN appears on bottom front of frame and on lower tang. Accompanying box contains instruction sheet and hang tag with remnants of craft paper wrap. End label is numbered to this rifle. CONDITION: Extremely fine. Bbl retains 99.99% orig blue finish with a minuscule amount of muzzle wear. Receiver also retains 99.99% orig blue finish. There are two small bright spots on upper ring of receiver. Rifle was not assembled. Stocks are fine and show only a couple of minuscule handling marks. Box is very good, intact with a label that shows some abrasion but is very readable. There is scotch tape repair at one corner; tape partially covers label. An extremely fine example of a nearly new Winchester Model 62A in its orig box. 53080-59 TEP (2,000-3,000)
