MARKSMAN'S LOT OF THREE LONG-RANGE COMPETITION RIFLES. REMINGTON 700 LH C6688261 223 MODERN Cal. .223. 26" heavy stainless steel bbl marked "HAMMOND RIFLES". Left hand Remington action with fine adjustable target trigger with single-shot adapter in mag. Mounted in a blue marbleized synthetic bench rest stock with evidence of proper glass bedding and free floating. Sayko pattern extractor conversion on bolt. Equipped with a Leopold Vary-X III 6.5x20 power scope with traditional fine Duplex reticle. Custom work appears to be of best quality. PROVENANCE: Daryl Middlebrook collection. CONDITION: Bore, rifling and throat are sharp and bright. Overall condition is very fine with light traces of typical target use. Optics are bright and mounted in precision quality long range rings and bases. Glass bedded into a black fiberglass bench rest pattern stock. Equipped with a Leopold Vari-X III 6.5x20 E.F.R. scope with target knobs. PROVENANCE: Daryl Middlebrook collection. CONDITION: Very fine overall with typical signs of light usage. Bore bright and shiny with sharp throat. Trigger pull tested at less than 1 ounce. Left hand Remington 700 short-action with adjustable target trigger and glass bedded into what appears to be a McMillan synthetic stock. Equipped with a Leopold Vary-X III 6.5x20 E.F.R. target scope with target knobs and mounted with Burris detachable steel rings. Has a removable single-shot adapter in mag box. Scope is missing target knob covers. PROVENANCE: Daryl Middlebrook collection. CONDITION: Very fine overall showing little evidence of actual use. Bore is bright and sharp as is throat.
