Brown Bakelite grips. This gun is described on pg. 50, pictured pg. 55 of The P38 Pistol, Volume 2 by Warren Buxton. Eagle 359 inspected mag. Accompanied by black leather flap holster. Marked on back "fkx / 4", "P38". PROVENANCE: The esteemed collection of noted expert and author Warren Buxton. CONDITION: Fine with most of the orig finish. Worn on front strap. Light handling marks. Wear on high points. Minor pitting at top of bbl. All markings clear. Fine grips with light handling marks. Holster is very good showing wear, minor scuff marks. MAUSER SVW45 FRENCH POLICE P38 9MM PISTOL WITH HOLSTER.MAUSERP389024I9MMHOLSTERMODERN; C&RCal. 9mm. 5" bbl. Standard markings. Flaming grenade in circle proof on left side of frame, before SN. French star on right side of slide. Matching SN's on slide, frame and bbl. Does not appear to have any German inspector's marks. Metal grips. "P.38v/U" marked heavy phosphate mag. Accompanied by black leather and pressed cardboard holster. PROVENANCE: The esteemed collection of noted expert and author Warren Buxton. CONDITION: Very good with light handling marks and wear on high points. All markings clear. Grips retain most of the dark grey finish. Bore has sharp rifling. Fine mechanical function. Holster appears to have had some restoration, modified P08 Luger flap, strap appears to be replaced. Strong stitching. 53005-90 GER (800-1,000)

WaA135 inspected on right side of slide, with French star. Austrian Eagle BH marking on left side of frame. West German sunburst police mark on left side of frame between SN and Austrian mark. Commercial banner Walther bbl of later production, date code "HK". Matching SN on slide & frame. Black plastic checkered grips. This gun is described on pgs. 83 & 92, pictured pgs. 90-91 of The P38 Pistol, Vol III by Warren Buxton. Post war banner Walther P1 mag. Accompanied by black leather clam shell holster. Marked on back "A.FISCHER / BERLINC.2 / 1944", "P38". Back of holster is brown leather. Flap, front body, and belt loops are black leather. Mag pouch appears to be pressed cardboard. PROVENANCE: The esteemed collection of noted expert and author Warren Buxton. CONDITION: Very good showing finish wear on high points, thinning on front strap. Light handling marks. All markings clear. Grips are very good with minor dings and handling marks. Bore is fine with sharp rifling. Fine mechanical function. Holster is very good, showing wear and scuff marks. CONDITION: Very fine as arsenal refurbished. All markings crisp & clear. Grips are fine with minor handling marks, loose fitting. Bore has strong rifling with minor roughness at edges.
