WALTHER P-38 COLLECTOR'S LOT.WALTHERP38004703E9MMW/ BOXMODERN; C&R; IMPORTCal. 9mm. 5" bbl. Standard post-war "Ulm/Do" markings. Portuguese stylized "GNR" marking on right side of slide for the Guarda Nacional Republicana. Black plastic grips. Proper mag. Brown cardboard box. A small lot of 80 of these pistols were brought in. One of the most elusive Military contracts made by Walther post-war. PROVENANCE: The esteemed collection of noted expert and author Warren Buxton. CONDITION: Fine condition with a fair amount of finish in protected areas. Markings are clear. Bore is fine with sharp rifling. Mechanics are fine. Grips show wear and handling marks. Portuguese stylized "GNR" marking on right side of slide for the Guarda Nacional Republicana. Dated "9/62". Black plastic grips. Two proper mags. Factory matching brown cardboard box with cleaning rod and manual. A small lot of 80 of these pistols were brought in. One of the most elusive Military contracts made by Walther post-war. CONDITION: Very fine, showing slight wear and minimal handling marks. All markings clear. Grips have minor handing marks. Bore is fine with sharp well defined rifling. Mechanics are fine.
