WWII P-38 WALTHER PISTOL COLLECTOR'S LOT.WALTHERP387335T9MMHolsterMODERN; C&RCal. 9mm. 5" bbl. Standard markings, with the addition of the Israeli police marking on left side of frame just after SN and on trigger guard web. WaA135 inspected frame, Eagle 88 inspected bbl, Eagle 359 inspected slide. Numbers are not matching on any parts. This gun is described on pg. 99, pictured pg. 100 of The P38 Pistol, Vol. III by Warren Buxton. Left grip is brown Bakelite, right grip is checkered black Bakelite. WWII mag. Accompanied by black leather flap holster. Marked on back "jln / 1944", WaA145, "P38". PROVENANCE: The esteemed collection of noted expert and author Warren Buxton. CONDITION: Fair with almost no finish remaining. Sides of slide may have been touched up. All markings clear. Some light pitting on external of bbl. Bore has light pitting throughout with good rifling. Grips are good with light handling marks. Hammer falls when slide is released, should be addressed. Holster is worn. Matching numbers on slide, frame and bbl. Eagle 359 inspected. Chocolate Bakelite grips. WaA135 inspected mag. Accompanied by brown leather flap holster marked on back "jwa/41", "P.38". PROVENANCE: The esteemed collection of noted expert and author Warren Buxton. CONDITION: Good condition with significant finish wear. Orig high luster blue still present in protected areas. Markings are clear. Very minor surface rust and pin-prick pitting. Bore has light pitting with strong rifling. Fine mechanical function. Grips are fine with light handling marks. Holster is worn. Stitching has been repaired at top left of flap. 53005-69 GER (600-750)

Eagle 359 inspected. Matching numbers on slide, frame and bbl. Black Bakelite grips. Eagle 359 inspected mag. Accompanied by black leather clam shell holster. Marked on back "bml/43", WaA23, "P.38". PROVENANCE: The esteemed collection of noted expert and author Warren Buxton. CONDITION: Fine as arsenal refurbished, very light surface rust on bbl. All markings clear. Grips are fine with light handling marks. Bore has moderate pitting throughout with good rifling. Fine mechanical function. Holster is worn with solid stitching. 53005-70 GER (400-500)

Brown Bakelite grips. "P.38v/U" marked mag. This gun is described on p. 262, pictured p. 263 of The P.38 Pistol, Vol. I by Warren Buxton. Accompanied by black leather clam shell holster. Markings on back have been defaced or worn. Initials, symbols and "2/20/47" carved in back. Flap is marked "1994B". PROVENANCE: The esteemed collection of noted expert and author Warren Buxton. CONDITION: Very good with some pitting on left side front sight boss. Finish wear on high points and front strap. All markings clear. Grips are fine with light handling marks. Bore is fine, bright with sharp rifling. Fine mechanical function. Front of holster appears to have been redyed. Flap most likely replaced. Some modifications. Strong stitching.
