WWII COLLECTOR'S GROUP OF MAUSER P-38 PISTOLS.MAUSERP38919K9MMHolsterMODERN; C&RCal. 9mm. 5" bbl. Standard markings. Gun features a heavy Parkerized finish. French star on right side of slide. Matching numbers on slide, frame & bbl. Proper mag. Metal grips. This gun is described on pg. 50, pictured pg. 53 of The P38 Pistol, Vol. II by Warren Buxton.Accompanied by black leather pebble grain flap holster, which appears to be unmarked. PROVENANCE: The esteemed collection of noted expert and author Warren Buxton. CONDITION: Very fine with almost all of the orig finish. Some very light handling marks and minor wear at front edges of slide. All markings clear. Fine mechanical function. MAUSER SVW45 P38 9MM PISTOL WITH HOLSTER.MAUSERP389350I9MMHOLSTERMODERN; C&RCal. 9mm. 5" bbl. Standard markings. French star on right side of slide does not appear to have any German inspector's marks. Metal grips. Matching SN's on slide, frame and bbl. This gun is described on p. 47, pictured p. 49 of The P.38 Pistol, Vol. II by Warren Buxton. "P.38v/U" marked postwar finished mag with non-matching SN on floorplate. Accompanied by black leather pebble grain flap holster marked on back "bml/44". Marked on inside of flap with SS runes/95 under eagle swastika. PROVENANCE: The esteemed collection of noted expert and author Warren Buxton. CONDITION: Very good with a majority of orig finish. All markings clear. Grips retain most of the proper finish. Bore is bright with sharp rifling. Fine mechanical function. Holster shows wear with strong stitching. 53005-62 GER (800-1,000)

Slide is cracked on left side, extending upwards from rear peak of "W". Matching numbers slide, frame & bbl. Bbl is WaA135 inspected on left lug. Metal grips. Proper style WWII mag. This gun is described on pg. 56, pictured pg. 58 of The P38 Pistol, Vol. II by Warren Buxton. Accompanied by scarce leather and pressed cardboard holster. PROVENANCE: The esteemed collection of noted expert and author Warren Buxton. CONDITION: Very good with most of the orig finish. Slide crack as noted. All markings clear. Bore has strong rifling with light pitting. Fine mechanical function. Stitching on top flap of holster is separated in areas. Belt loop is a period replacement.
