COLLECTOR'S LOT OF MAUSER P-38 PISTOLS.MAUSERP382904H9MMHolsterMODERN; C&R; IMPORTCal. 9mm. 5" bbl. Standard markings. WaA135 inspected. French star on right side of slide. Austrian eagle BH on left side of frame. Matching numbers slide, frame & bbl. French metal grips. This gun is described on pg. 83, pictured pg. 86 of The P38 Pistol, Vol III by Warren Buxton. Post war commercial P38 mag. Accompanied by black leather clam shell holster. PROVENANCE: The esteemed collection of noted expert and author Warren Buxton. CONDITION: Very good as arsenal refurbished. Finish wear on high points. All markings clear. Grips retain most of the orig finish. Bore has good rifling with very slight roughness throughout. Fine mechanical function. Holster is worn, markings hard to see. There is a hole in either top corner on back. Stitching is pulling through on flap. 53005-13 GER (1,500-2,500)

Eagle L marked on right side of slide. Matching SN on slide and bbl. Frame is Eagle 88 inspected, not matching. Brown Bakelite grips, left grip is darker in color. WWII production mag. Accompanied by black leather flap holster marked on back "gxy 1943", WaA706, "P38". PROVENANCE: The esteemed collection of noted expert and author Warren Buxton. CONDITION: Very good as mis-matched. Finish wear to front strap, high points. All markings clear. Grips have light scratches & handling marks. Cracked at top rear of left grip. Bore is bright with sharp rifling. "ac / 43" marked slide was made under contract by FN for Mauser. Matching numbers on slide, frame & bbl. Proper phosphate WaA135 marked mag. Black Bakelite grips. This gun is explained on pg. 211, pictured pg. 2214 of The P38 Pistol, Vol. II by Warren Buxton. Accompanied by black leather clam shell holster. Marked on back "jln / 1943", WaA145, "P38". PROVENANCE: The esteemed collection of noted expert and author Warren Buxton. CONDITION: Good condition showing wear to phosphate. All markings clear. Grips are fine with light handling marks. PROVENANCE: The esteemed collection of noted expert and author Warren Buxton. CONDITION: Very good, phosphate on slide is worn smooth. Light handling marks and wear on high points. All markings clear. Grips have light handling marks as well as initials at top left grip. Bore is fine, sharp with strong rifling. Holster is good. Stitching has pulled through in several areas.
