WALTHER TARGET PISTOL COLLECTOR'S LOT. WALTHER 1932 3750 22 MODERN; C&R Cal. 22LR cal. 7-1/2" bbl. This exact pistol is pictured on pg 91 of Walther Volume II by James L. Rankin, described on pg 89. This gun is also featured on pg 58 of Walther Volume III, by James L. Rankin, described on pg 57. The front sight is adjustable for elevation. Standard markings on gun. Crown/N commercial proofs. Walther banner is marked on both sides of the grips and mag floor plate. Checkered wood grips. Proper mag. This gun is described as a Special Stoeger Model. PROVENANCE: Ex James L. Rankin collection. The esteemed collection of noted expert and author Warren Buxton. CONDITION: Fine with most of the finish and some light handling marks. Markings are clear. Slide hold open catch on left side of frame needs attention. Fine bore with sharp rifling. There is a crack running down the length of the left side at the rear of the grip. CONDITION: Fine with light handling marks. Some dings at chamber end of bbl. Grips are fine with sharp checkering, light handling marks, standard crack at top rear left corner. Matching SN's on slide, frame and proper wood bottom mag. Mag has "E. Sohngen" tastefully scratched into the spine. PROVENANCE: The esteemed collection of noted expert and author Warren Buxton. CONDITION: Fine with finish wear on high points and average handling marks. All markings clear. Grips are very good with minor dings and handling marks. Bore is fine with sharp rifling.
