COLLECTOR'S LOT OF TWO VINTAGE AIR PISTOLS, WALTHER 53 .177 IN CASE & SCHIMEL GP22 .22 IN BOX.WALTHER/WALTHER53/GP22047311/G7225.177/22W/CASE, BOX, PELLETSCal. .177. SN 047311 has 9-1/2" bbl. Black crinkle finish. Black plastic grips. Accompanied by factory dark blue leatherette covered carry case with wooden cocking knob, empty pellet tin and manual. SN G7225 has 6-1/2" bbl. Cal. 22. These were styled after the Luger pistols, made in California in the 1950's. Black plastic grips. Original box with pellets, and spare "O" ring. Cardboard box is matching. PROVENANCE: The esteemed collection of noted expert and author Warren Buxton. CONDITION: SN 047311 is in very fine condition. Most of the finish with some very slight handling marks. Grips are fine with slight handling marks. Bore is fine. Mechanics are fine. Case is very good with some scuff marks, satin interior lid lining is coming un-glued as is the external bottom seam. Carry handle is intact. SN G7225 is in poor condition, crack in frame on left side at bottom. Fair amount of finish remains. Mechanics not tested due to cracked frame. Grips are fine with minor scratches and handling marks. Box is solid with scuff marks. 53005-12 GER (300-500)
