COLLECTOR'S LOT OF 3 EXTREMELY EARLY SPRINGFIELD M1 GARAND .30-06 RIFLES.SPRINGFIELDM1188730-06MODERN; C&RCal. .30-06. 24" bbl. Gun is a post war refurbish. Bbl dated 10-46. Parts appear to be Springfield manufacture. Proper style but newly added "SA/ SPG" cartouche on left side of stock. Arsenal rebuild cartouche on left side of butt. "MRT 4-64" dated brown leather sling. Based on the SN the receiver of this gun was made in March 1938. Originally this gun would have been outfitted with the gas trap assembly. CONDITION: Good showing finish wear with minor pitting in a few areas. All markings strong including receiver stub. Stock has minor handling marks, sharp SA cartouche appears to be a newer stamping, worn rebuild cartouche. Hand guards are not matching in color or finish. Bore is fine with sharp rifling. Mechanics are fine. 53042-1 GER (8,000-12,000)

SPRINGFIELDM1189030-06MODERN; C&RCal. .30-06. 24" bbl. Gun is a post war refurbish. Bbl dated 8-46. Parts appear to be Springfield manufacture. Stock has circle P firing proof on front of grip, no other cartouches. OD green canvas sling. Based on the SN the receiver of this gun was made in March 1938. Originally this gun would have been outfitted with the gas trap assembly. CONDITION: Good with a fair amount of finish. All marking clear including receiver stub. Stock appears to have been scraped and re-varnished at some point. Forend and hand guard retain the proper military oil finish. Bore is fine with sharp rifling. Mechanics are fine. 53042-3 GER (2,666-4,000)

SPRINGFIELDM1188930-06MODERN; C&RCal. .30-06. 24" bbl. Gun is a post war refurbish. Bbl dated 8-47. Parts are a mixture of manufactures. Proper style but newly added "SA/ SPG" cartouche on left side of stock. Unmarked military style brown leather sling. Based on the SN the receiver of this gun was made in March 1938. Originally this gun would have been outfitted with the gas trap assembly. CONDITION: Good showing significant finish wear. Some rust and dings on bbl and gas cylinder. Some minor pitting on rear sight ears. All markings are clear, including receiver. Stock has numerous dings and handling marks, crisp fresh cartouche. Bore is fine with strong rifling. Mechanics need attention. 53042-2 GER (2,666-4,000)
