RARE SCAGEL HUNTING KNIFE.11-3/4" overall, 6-3/4" narrow blade, 7/8" wide at ricasso, 2-1/4" clip-point. Blade stamped with Scagel's trademark kris. Grip is made from stacked leather, red composition, copper and aluminum spacers with a crown stag pommel, teardrop shaped 1-1/2" crossguard. Accompanying leather scabbard has script "R" embossed on rivets. SIZE: CONDITION: Good overall, no orig finish. Blade cleaned to a grey/bright metal. Old sharpening with a Damascene like texture with several occlusions as can be seen in photos. Accompanying brown leather scabbard fits knife well with comparable use. 53082-2 JS (6,000-8,000)
