COLT 1911 GOVERNMENT MODEL PISTOL IN .45 ACP IN VERY NEAR ORIGINAL CONDITION.COLT1911 GOVTC9797745ACPMODERN; C&RCal. 45 ACP. 5" bbl. Slide right has "COLT AUTOMATIC/CALIBRE 45", left slide shows standard Colt 1913 patent legend followed by Colt's standard Hartford address. Rear of slide shows Rampant Colt. Front sight is thin, tall, rounded. Rear sight has round notch. Receiver right shows "GOVERNMENT MODEL/C 91977". Trigger guard bow left upper shows verified proof with "P" on lower trigger guard bow. Top of receiver shows "S" mark. Magazine is two-toned. Bbl area visible through ejection port is bright and in the white. Small "C" mark ahead of lug along with "P". CONDITION: Overall condition is extremely fine with 98+% orig blue remaining with most of the wear on main spring housing. Bore is dirty but appears to be un-pitted. Front of bbl shows hand file marks. Stocks are crisp. Stock screws are excellent showing no damage. Magazine is a two-tone commercial polished type that appears near new with only slight scattered patina. Mechanics are crisp.
