COLT DIAMONDBACK DOUBLE ACTION REVOLVER IN ORIGINAL BOX.COLTDIAMONDBACKD4831838 SPLW/BOXMODERNCal. 38 SPL. 4" bbl. Full blue finish. 2-pc checkered walnut grips with nickel Colt medallions. Left side of bbl is marked "DIAMONDBACK/.38 SPECIAL CTG." Right side of bbl shows Colt address rolled in one line. SN is struck on the inside of crane mortise of frame and on crane opposite mortise. Rampant Colt logo appears under cyl latch. Revolver has ramp front sight and adjustable rear sight mounted on matted rib and top strap. Box is brown wood grain cardboard. Box has end label showing features of this revolver with SN written in crayon on bottom of box. CONDITION: Very fine. Revolver retains nearly all of the original royal blue finish with only very slight muzzle wear on right side and a very minuscule chip on left side of ventilated rib. Markings are sharp. Bore is bright with strong rifling. Cyl retains nearly all of blue finish with a slight drag mark between bolt stops. Grips are fine with sharp checkering and very little evidence of handling. Small dent on the toe of the left grip. Mechanics are crisp. Box very good, intact and shows some scuff marks overall. End label is very good, but detached.
