Signed indistinctly above ankle lower left with what possibly appears to be "WG per IG" which may account for the two modern inscriptions on verso of stretcher "William J Glackens". Also in older pencil on stretcher is "Bazin Rua..." SIZE: 19-3/4" x 24". Overall: 26" x 30" PROVENANCE: Contents of a lifetime collection "Brook Crossing", South Pomfret, VT. CONDITION: Good restored condition with large patch on verso that correlates to a restored tear on front 52806-127 AKL (2,000-4,000)
