PAINTED POTTERY STATUE OF STANDING HORSE.Tang Dynasty, China. The horse is shown standing on a rectangular base with his head raised high and standing at attention. A saddle is draped over its back and bridle on its head. It is finished in a red wash, saddle and bridle painted black and white. Accompanied by Oxford Thermoluminescence test number C103Y37. SIZE: 12" h x 10-1/2" l. CONDITION: Overall very good, possible old restoration to top of front legs and at top of the neck. 53060-1 JTC (2,500-3,500)
