YELLOW JADE SNUFF BOTTLE.China, 19th century. The stone of a pale yellow color having scattered white inclusions hand carved in flattened form while standing on a raised foot. Bottle is well hollowed and comes with a replacement stopper. SIZE: 2-1/4" h without stopper. PROVENANCE: A most historical and important collection from the estate of Maria Decatur Mayo Deyo (Lila) Garnett of Kittery Point, Maine.
