PEKING ENAMEL COVERED BOX.China, Qing Dynasty. The round box made in flattened form and hand painted on the cover with a woman on horseback along with two attendants. The underside with a six character Qianlong mark. SIZE: 4-1/4" dia. PROVENANCE: A most historical and important collection from the estate of Maria Decatur Mayo Deyo (Lila) Garnett of Kittery Point, Maine. CONDITION: Discoloring to the enamel, small chip on cover, losses to cover interior, area of stress lines to lower half. 52714-82 JTC (600-800)
