The case with pierced carved oak leaf cresting above the house form case with a molded Roman numeral chapter ring beneath double doors concealing a carved wood bird that sounds the hour, all within a frame simulating natural trees with carved oak leaves. The original pendulum, carved as a tree form disc with central oak leaf. The 8-day brass movement driven by three pine cone shaped iron weights on chains, set within a wood frame.
