EARLY AMERICAN PINE STEPBACK CUPBOARD.Second quarter 19th century, New England. In two parts, the upper case with angular cornice projecting above a pair of paneled doors opening to an interior of two shelves set back upon the lower case with conforming doors, opening to an interior of two shelves. Raised on bracket feet with shaped returns. The case sides with scalloped apron. The whole in a red wash. SIZE: 79" h x 46" w x 18" d. PROVENANCE: From an unreserved Corea, ME collection. CONDITION: Structurally very good with normal and expected in-use wear. Horizontal abrasion on proper lower right door. Backboards original. 52885-17 HMG (400-600)
