EARLY AMERICAN TWO DOOR PINE STORAGE CUPBOARD IN OLD PAINT.Mid 19th century, New England. This primitive example with canted cornice above the rectangular case fitted with a pair of plank cupboard doors. Each door with wooden latch opening to an interior in grey paint with six fixed pine shelves. The exterior in a mustard paint over earlier blue. SIZE: 70" h x 47" w x 19-1/2" d. PROVENANCE: From an unreserved Corea, ME collection. CONDITION: Structurally good. Simple plank construction. Case sides with old shrinkage cracks now stable.
