EIGHT ASSORTED PIECES OF STERLING SILVER TABLE WARES.1) 12" x 10" reticulated edged oval low bowl by Gorham, marked "A 5743" and date marked 1906. 2&3) Pair of 6" x 5" heart shaped reticulated footed dishes monogrammed "MDM" (from the Deyo family) by Gorham, retailed by Black, Starr & Frost. Marked on bottom "3300" and date mark 1894. 4&5) Pair of 5" diameter reticulated dishes by Marcus & Co, New York. Marked on Bottom with name and "75". 6&7) Pair of 6-3/4" diameter B&M sterling 1360 Bamboo pattern trophy dishes. The center having an enameled crest for "Chevy Chase Club", both engraved "Chevy Chase Club / Mixed Foursums / 1960 / Low net / Winners / Mrs. and Dr. James H.P. Garnett". 8) 2-3/4" h bulbous toothpick/vase marked ".925". Total weight: 40 troy oz. SIZE: As noted above. PROVENANCE: A most historical and important collection from the estate of Maria Decatur Mayo Deyo (Lila) Garnett of Kittery Point, Maine, descendant of Commodore Stephen Decatur (1779-1820), Captain John Pine Decatur (1786-1832), and Vice Admiral Morton Deyo (1887-1973).
