Raised on a concave molded plinth with bracket feet. The French brass eight-day movement with open escapement and Roman numeral chapter ring on the porcelain dial, centering time and strike apertures, striking on a gong. The movement driven by a two-barrel mercury pendulum. The brass back-plate impressed with the serial number 658.
