EARLY AMERICAN PINE AND MAPLE TAVERN TABLE.Early 19th century, New England. The rectangular single board top with breadboard ends projecting above the conforming apron, raised on blocked baluster-and ring-turned legs, joined by a rectangular box stretcher. SIZE: 28-3/4 h x 31-3/4 w x 25 d. PROVENANCE: From an unreserved Corea, Maine estate collection. CONDITION: Structurally sound. Earlier shrinkage cracks restored and stabilized. Feet original. Now with cleaned and repolished surface in a pale honey-brown color. Good overall. 52885-10 HMG (300-400)
