FEDERAL CHERRY PEMBROKE TABLE TOGETHER WITH MAPLE PEMBROKE TABLE.First quarter 19th century, New England. 1) The rectangular top with hinged leaves projecting above the conforming apron, fitted with a single drawer, raised on square tapered legs. 2) The rectangular top joined to hinged leaves with ogival corners projecting above the conforming frieze raised on square tapered legs. SIZE: 1) 27-1/2" h x 17" w closed, 33" open x 32" d. 2) 28-1/2" h x 17-3/4" closed, 36-1/2" open x 36" d. PROVENANCE: From an unreserved Corea, Maine estate collection. CONDITION: 1) Old surface with normal and expected in-use wear. Light staining to top. Old shrinkage crack on seam of top with splice repair. Period brass ring pull a period replacement. Otherwise good. 2) Top with old repolish, now a light honey-brown. No restoration noted. Structurally sound. Good overall. 52885-11 HMG (500-700)
