TWO PAIR OF SIMILAR SILVER PLATED CANDLESTICKS AND A PAIR OF SHEFFIELD HURRICANE LAMPS.The pairs are only slightly different, having square bases, long shafts with removable bobeches. The are illegible hallmarks and writing on bases, possible Sheffield marks. 2) The pair of Sheffield candlesticks having gadrooned round bottom edge and top fitted for elongated tulip formed clear shades. Unmarked, 19th century. SIZE: 1) 13" h. 2) 23" h. PROVENANCE: A most historical and important collection from the estate of Maria Decatur Mayo Deyo (Lila) Garnett of Kittery Point, Maine. CONDITION: 1) Generally very good, one of each of the pairs have had the bottom plate removed and re-attached with weighting removed. 2) Base does not have bottom plate, but shows weighted element.
