CHIPPENDALE STYLE CUSTOM MAHOGANY WING CHAIR.Last quarter 20th century. Serpentine crest rail joined to shallow ogival wings continuing to rolled arms centering trapezoidal overupholstered seat with cushion raised on square frontal legs, backswept rear legs, and joined by a recessed box stretcher. Covered in a blue-green subtle plaid tweed. SIZE: 44-1/2" h (overall), 17" h (seat without cushion) x 35" w. PROVENANCE: Contents of a lifetime collection "Brook Crossing," South Pomfret, VT.
