QUEEN ANNE CENTENNIAL WING CHAIR.Early 19th century England. The serpentine crest rail joined to deep ogival wings continuing to rolled arms on incurved and outscrolled supports. The frame overupholstered in a salmon herringbone pattern. The chair raised on frontal cabriole legs with shaped returns on circular pad feet. The rear legs backswept with pointed feet. SIZE: 42-1/2" h (back), 17" h (seat without cushion) x 32" w. PROVENANCE: Contents of a lifetime collection "Brook Crossing," South Pomfret, VT. CONDITION: Upholstery clean and serviceable.
