SIX MISCELLANEOUS OBJECTS.19th/20th century. 1) Leather shot flask impressed with numeral "2-1/2" above letters "BS" with brass spout embossed with game figures of a pheasant and a rabbit. 2) Bronze nutcracker in form of a hunting dog. 3) Pewter cigarette box with carved shotgun mounted to the lid impressed with maker's name "PALMER - SMITH". The interior beneath the hinged lid with four compartments. 4) Clam shell silver on brass box with hinged lid, marked on the base "VICTORIA". 5) Two sterling silver clad bristle brushes with hallmark for R. Blackinton & Co, North Attleboro, MA. SIZE: 1) 7" l. 2) 9" l. 3) 10-3/4" l. 4) 6" l. 5) 4-3/4" l x 2-3/4" w. PROVENANCE: Contents of a lifetime collection "Brook Crossing," South Pomfret, VT. CONDITION: 1) Shot bag with original age darkened surface, weakness to stitching at bag corner. 2) Retains original surface with age darkened patina, good overall. 3) Good overall. 4) Silver has worn off of lid, exposing brass foundation, otherwise well polished. 5) Brushes in very good condition, bristles intact, not worn.
