TWO CAMPHOR TRUNKS.1st half 20th century England or China. The first, a dovetailed example, the hinged lid opening to a storage well fitted with gallery tray on shaped bracket feet. The second, a brass bound example with campaign-style carrying handles, strapping and lock plates. Interior with storage well. SIZE: 1) 21 h x 41-1/2" l x 21-1/2" d. 2) 19 h x 41 l x 20-1/2" d. PROVENANCE: A most historical and important collection from the estate of Maria Decatur Mayo Deyo (Lila) Garnett of Kittery Point, Maine.
