CEREMONIAL DAGGER.19th century, possibly theatrical or decorative dagger measuring 13" overall with 9-1/2" blade with rounded edge point. Sheath tip is from Civil War era, Civil War bayonet. SIZE: PROVENANCE: A most historical and important collection from the estate of Maria Decatur Mayo Deyo (Lila) Garnett of Kittery Point, Maine. CONDITION: Brass pommel and "C" shaped cross-guard of light mustard patina. Blade is grey. Scabbard is missing throat and utilized heavily eroded brass circa 1860 Springfield bayonet tip. 52714-189 JGS (300-500)
