ESA - TEAK DOME TOP INLAID STORAGE TRUNK.Second half 19th century, Middle East. The rectangular dome top opening to an interior fitted with a lidded storage compartment, raised on a molded base with shaped bracket feet. The whole inlaid with bone and mother of pearl in a floral motif. SIZE: 20" h x 26-1/4" w x 15" d. PROVENANCE: A most historical and important collection from the estate of Maria Decatur Mayo Deyo (Lila) Garnett of Kittery Point, Maine. CONDITION: Top with restoration to front panel of lid. Surface is old and with moderate abrasion and soiling commensurate with age. Lock absent. Old shrinkage split on lid now stabilized. 52714-33 HMG (300-500) ESA -
