FOUR EGYPTIAN BEAD NECKLACES.The lot consists of a 40" large bead necklace comprised of pottery glazed round beads, a 16" necklace with small blue glazed beads with nine small glazed figures, a 20" necklace with 12 small blue glazed scarabs, and a 48" double strand with 18 large connecting beads. Note: Ruth Lynda Deyo (1884-1960) was a successful concert pianist and traveled extensively during her career. In the 1920's she traveled to Egypt where she performed frequently, composing and working as a pioneering ethnomusicologist and became something of an Egyptologist, something quite unusual for a woman at that time. Accompanying her on these trips was her husband Charles Dalton. SIZE: As noted above.
